Workshop Curriculum in 2023 of English Language Education Study Program, FKIP ULM

Banjarmasin, October 25, 2023 – The English Language Education Study Program held its annual flagship event, the 2023 Curriculum Workshop, at Hotel Fugo Banjarmasin via Hybrid session on October 25, 2023. The event aimed to continually improve their curriculum to remain relevant and meet future demands.
The workshop was attended by lecturers, teaching staff, and students of the English Language Education Study Program, along with some special invited guests. One of the most memorable moments was the presence of Prof. Rudi Hartono, M.Pd, an education expert from Universitas Negeri Semarang, who was invited as the keynote speaker for the event.

Dr. Dharmono, M.Si, Deputy Dean for General Affairs, Personnel, and Finance, in providing opening remarks and officially inaugurating the English Language Education Curriculum Workshop at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at ULM (University Lambung Mangkurat). This signifies the importance and significance of the workshop, and the Deputy Dean’s involvement suggests their support and endorsement of the event. The opening remarks likely set the tone for the workshop, outlining its objectives and welcoming participants, while also highlighting the value of the workshop for the field of English language education.
Prof. Rudi Hartono, an expert in the field of education, delivered an inspirational speech on the latest developments in English language education. During his presentation, he discussed various crucial aspects of curriculum improvement, such as technology integration in learning, the development of innovative teaching methods, and the implementation of competency-based curricula. Participants eagerly listened to the experiences and knowledge shared by Prof. Rudi Hartono.
In addition to Prof. Rudi Hartono’s presentation, the workshop also featured discussion sessions, where participants shared their views and experiences on curriculum development. This allowed fresh ideas and innovative concepts to emerge.
