Student Activity

English Language Education Study Program – FKIP ULM

Student Activity refers to a wide range of non-academic initiatives designed to support students’ personal, social, and professional development beyond the classroom. These activities include student organizations, community service, leadership training, competitions, seminars, workshops, and cultural or language events.

At the English Language Education Study Program of FKIP ULM, student activities serve as a vital platform to shape students into:

  • Active and creative individuals

  • Skilled communicators and collaborators

  • Socially responsible and community-oriented citizens

  • Competent and competitive future educators

Regular student activities include:

  • HMPBI (Student Association of English Language Education) events

  • English Clubs and public speaking training

  • Community service projects using English as a medium

  • Student leadership development programs (e.g., LKMM)

  • Educational seminars and workshops

  • Participation in debate, essay writing, and storytelling competitions at regional and national levels

These activities also align with the spirit of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) by encouraging students to engage in internships, student exchanges, social projects, and entrepreneurial ventures.

By participating in student activities, students not only gain valuable experiences but also develop soft skills, build networks, and strengthen their sense of responsibility as future educators and leaders.
