Educator

Menghasilkan sarjana pendidikan dengan kompetensi ahli pendidikan bahasa Inggris untuk sekolah menengah formal dan lembaga pendidikan non formal dan kompetensi pendamping pada bidang-bidang tertentu yaitu kewirausahaan, penerjemahan, pariwisata, dan jurnalistik berdasarkan prinsip waja sampai kaputing dengan menjunjung nilai-nilai baiman, bauntung, batuah, dan baadab.

CAPAIAN PEMBELAJARAN LULUSAN

SIKAP

Setelah memenuhi kriteria kelulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, mahasiswa mampu

  1. Menjunjung tinggi nilai kemanusiaan dalam menjalankan tugas berdasarkan agama, moral, dan etika;
  2. Menghargai keanekaragaman budaya, pandangan, agama, dan kepercayaan, serta pendapat atau temuan orisinal orang lain;

Keterampilan Umum:

Setelah memenuhi kriteria kelulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, mahasiswa:

  1. Mampu menerapkan pemikiran logis, kritis, sistematis, dan inovatif dalam konteks pengembangan atau implementasi ilmu
    pengetahuan dan teknologi yang memperhatikan dan menerapkan nilai humaniora yang sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya;
  2. Mampu mengkaji implikasi pengembangan atau implementasi ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi atau seni sesuai dengan keahliannya berdasarkan kaidah, tata cara dan etika ilmiah untuk menghasilkan solusi, gagasan, desain, atau kritik seni serta menyusun deskripsi saintifik hasil kajiannya dalam bentuk skripsi atau laporan tugas
    akhir;

Keterampilan Khusus:

Setelah memenuhi kriteria kelulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, mahasiswa:

  1. Mahir berbahasa Inggris lisan dan tulisan dalam konteks keseharian/umum, akademis, dan pekerjaan dengan mengadaptasi budaya penutur asli tingkat post-intermediate;
  2. Mampu merencanakan dan mengelola pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan sumber daya dalam penyelenggaraan kelas, sekolah, dan lembaga pendidikan yang menjadi tanggung jawabnya, dan mengevaluasi aktivitasnya secara komprehensif;
  3. Mampu menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang relevan untuk pengembangan mutu pendidikan.
  4. Melakukan penelitian tentang pembelajaran kebahasaan dan sastra Bahasa Inggris

Pengetahuan :

Setelah memenuhi kriteria kelulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris.

  1. Menguasai konsep teoritis kebahasaan, kesastraan, literasi dan teknik berkomunikasi lisan dan tulisan umum (general English) dalam konteks keseharian/umum, akademis, dan pekerjaan setara tingkat post-intermediate;
  2. Menguasai konsep teoritis tentang pedagogi, psikologi perkembangan, psikologi pendidikan, teknik pengembangan program pembelajaran, penyajian (metode dan prosedur), pengelolaan, dan evaluasi program pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang mendidik.
  3. Menguasai konsep teoritis di bidang lingkungan lahan basah dalam Bahasa Inggris

Graduate Profile

The English Language Education Study Program of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat’s Facuulty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) has established a clear profile for its graduates. This profile serves as the foundation for formulating Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). PLOs define the essential skills and knowledge students will acquire by program completion. By understanding the desired graduate skillset, FKIP can tailor the curriculum to effectively prepare students for successful careers in English Language Education.

Educator

Producing graduates of education with expert competency in English Language Education for formal secondary schools and non-formal educational institutions, and with accompanying competencies in certain fields, namely entrepreneurship, translation, tourism and journalism based on the principles of waja sampai kaputing (perseverance) by upholding the values of baiman (religious), bauntung (prosperous), batuah (blessed), and baadab (civilized)

Program Learning Outcomes

Attitude:

Upon completing the graduation criteria of the English Language Education Study Program, students are able to:

  1. Uphold the fundamental values of humanity in fulfilling responsibilities according to religions, morals, and ethics.
  2. Appreciate the diversity of cultures, perspectives, religions, beliefs, and the original opinions or works of others.

General Skills:

Upon completing the graduation criteria of the English Language Education Study Program, students are able to:

  1. Apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the context of developing or implementing knowledge and technology, while considering and applying humanistic values relevant to their field of expertise.
  2. Assess the implications of developing or implementing knowledge, technology, or art according to their expertise, based on the principles, procedures, and ethics of science to produce solutions, ideas, artistic designs, or critiques, and to compile a scientific description of their study in the form of a thesis or final project report.

Specific Skills:

Upon completing the graduation criteria of English Language Education Study Program, students are able to:

  1. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in spoken and written English for everyday/general, academic, and professional contexts by adapting to native speaker culture at post-intermediate level.
  2. Manage English language teaching and learning and resources in organizing classes, schools, and educational institutions, and evaluate the activities comprehensively.
  3. Utilize relevant information and communication technology to enhance educational quality standards.
  4. Conduct research about English language and literature teaching and learning processes.

Knowledge:

Upon completing the graduation criteria of English Language Education Study Program, students are able to:

  1. Apply theoretical concepts of linguistics, literature, literacy, and techniques of oral and written communication in general, academic, and professional contexts at a post-intermediate level.
  2. Apply theoretical concepts of pedagogy, developmental psychology, educational psychology, techniques for developing learning programs, presentation (methods and procedures), management, and educating evaluation of English teaching and learning programs.
  3. Apply theoretical concepts in the field of study of wetland environments in English
